Mad Max

Here is another Columbus Max track bike built for racing. The literal "brother" of our previous Max track bike, the owner of this bike wanted the "same thing, only in red." The lugs and bottom bracket shell were carved and brass fillets added to the seat lug to provide a much needed aesthetic improvement. Of course we had to up the ante over the original with the custom pinstriping and Hot Rod Red paint.

Go fast, turn left and keep the rubber side down.

Screaming Eagle

Track bikes are a lot of fun and we enjoy them. The frames are stiff, the riders focused. A large amount of pain in a short period of time. Fun.

This bike features the legendary Columbus Max tubing known for its stiffness and — let's be honest here — ugly lugs. Well, we've modified the lugs making them easier on the eye and they now compliment the design. Additionally, we've fabricated an integrated bar/stem combination to ensure that no one mistakes this for a high-rise trick bike. Blue Araya Super Aero wheels, custom-mixed HOK green paint and special pinstripping bring it all together.

Track in Black

A track bike is a limited venture. No brakes, no shifters, no derailleurs, only your legs and a single-fixed gear determine its ultimate speed.

This one is no exception. Ultra-short chainstays and steep angles characterize this frame — mirroring its home track of Alpenrose. At 268 meters in length with 44 degrees of banking, it will test those who ride it.
